Arasavilli Temple in Srikakulam

Arasavilli :

            It is just two kilometers away from  Srikakulam town and it has become noted on account of age old temple sri  Surynaarayana Swami (the Sun God). It is very famous, for the idol receives sunrays at the feet in the months of February and june in the early hours, People visit this temple owing to their health purpose also and separate gatherings are held every February. According to Stal puraana(story of the place),the temple was built by lord Devendra  himself. At  the elevation of the temple there is an idol of Sun god having on his way on the chariot with seven horses is to be noticed.
