Srimukhalingam Temple in Srikakulam

Srimukhalingam:

            It is situated on the banks of the river vamsadhara 45KM away from Srikakulam. Here the temple is endowed with a famous temple of  Srimukha  lingeswara swami. Gangarajus built this temple in Indo Aryan style in the 9^th century. Here the possessions of sculptures are to be seen. The temple is bestowed with other temples like Madhukeswara temple and Bheemeswara temple. Here among all ceremonies the mahasivaraatri  is the famous one.
